Eucharistic Glory Holy Hours
Join parishes across the Diocese of Allentown for Eucharistic Glory Holy Hours in celebration of the 65th Anniversary of the Diocese. These evenings of Eucharistic Adoration invite the faithful to gather in prayer, reflection, and community, with music and reflections provided by Live Vertical.

Remaining Holy Hours will be held on:

  • Thursday, April 9 at Holy Guardian Angels, Reading
  • Thursday, April 23 at Notre Dame of Bethlehem
  • Tuesday, April 28 at St. Ambrose, Schuylkill Haven
  • Thursday, April 30 at St. John XXIII, Tamaqua

Schedule: Doors open at 6:30pm, welcome at 6:45pm, exposition at 7:00pm, benediction at 7:55pm, followed by social time at 8:00pm. Live Vertical, a missionary movement serving the Diocese for many years, helps people know, love, and serve Jesus in the Eucharist and in one another, having facilitated more than 500,000 encounters with Christ through guided prayer in Eucharistic Adoration. View the flyer here.

Women's Discernment Group

Women of the Diocese of Allentown, ages 18–40, are invited to a Women's Discernment Group to pray, be in community, and learn more about the Vocations of marriage and religious life. Includes Adoration, a talk on vocations, pizza, and fellowship. Held every 4th Friday of the month. Enroll Names of the Departed for We Are Remembered Mass

The 35th Annual Easter Mass sponsored by the Diocesan “We Are Remembered” Ministry will be celebrated by Reverend Joseph Kweder with homilist, Reverend John Gibbons on Wednesday, April 8 at 7 p.m. at Saint Elizabeth of Hungary Church in Whitehall. Enroll the names of your loved ones by Monday, March 30, 2026 to ensure their inclusion in the Book of the Remembered and the enrollment list that will be printed afterward in the AD Times newspaper. A $5 donation is requested for each name enrolled to cover expenses, but every name submitted will be enrolled regardless of donation. Lehigh Valley IronPigs Night at the Ballpark

Young adults ages 18–38 are invited to join the Diocese of Allentown Commission for Young Adults for a night at the ballpark on Thursday, April 9 at a Lehigh Valley IronPigs game. Participants will enjoy an evening of baseball, community, and fellowship at the stadium, with food and drink included for $20. This event offers a fun opportunity for young adults across the Diocese to connect and spend time together while cheering on the IronPigs. Register by scanning the QR code on the flyer.

Mass of Thanksgiving for 65thAnniversary

You’re invited to join us for a Mass of Thanksgiving celebrating the 65th Anniversary of the Diocese of Allentown. This special liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday, April 11 at 4:15 PM at the Cathedral of St. Catharine of Siena, located at 1825 W. Turner Street, Allentown. Berks and Lehigh County Chapter of "Joseph's People" For Employment Help

If you are underemployed or unemployed or know someone who is, let Joseph's People help! Join us on Zoom on Tuesday, April 14th at 6 pm. Our topic will be "Attending a Career Fair." Disability Ministry Training Days

All persons—of any age and with any disability—have a home in the Church. The Diocese of Allentown will be hosting the National Catholic Partnership on Disability (NCPD) to provide a free two-day disability ministry training on April 21 and April 22, 2026 at St. Joseph the Worker, 1879 Applewood Dr, Orefield, PA 18069. Clergy, parish employees, diocesan staff, volunteers from any ministry, and the families of persons with disabilities are all welcomed and encouraged to register. 

Day 1: Tuesday, April 21:  Mental Health. Topics will include accompaniment, stigma, trauma-informed care, and suicide.  

Day 2: Wednesday, April 22: Disability Ministry and Universal Design. Learn how removing barriers—including non-physical barriers—opens the doors of the Church to all. Topics will include parish assessment tools, adaptive catechesis, guidance around language, and other resources.

Rachel's Vineyard Retreat

Through scripture readings, guided meditations and activities flowing from the meditations, you can experience God's compassion and forgiveness. Mental Health Awareness Mass

The Diocese of Allentown will host a Mental Health Awareness Mass on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Bethlehem. Celebrated by Bishop Alfred Schlert, this Mass will offer an opportunity for prayer, reflection, and support for those experiencing mental health challenges, as well as for their families, caregivers, and all who work in mental health ministry. All are invited to gather in faith and solidarity as we pray for healing, hope, and greater awareness of mental health in our communities. See flyer here.
