Joy is contagious – and 26 of our Catholic schools are spreading it loud through their engaging “Make a Joyful Noise” videos. This fundraising campaign is a celebration of faith, community, and the generosity that keeps Catholic education thriving.
Launched on Jan. 25 and running through Feb. 22, “Make a Joyful Noise” is more than just a fundraiser. It’s a showcase of what makes Catholic education so special. Each participating school has rallied students, teachers, principals, pastors, parents, and even a few surprise guests to create energetic and inspiring videos that capture the heart of their community.
From jaw-dropping backflips and choreographed dance routines to principals, priests, and nuns stepping into the spotlight, the campaign highlights the contagious joy found in Catholic schools. You may laugh, you may cry. One sure thing: you won’t keep a straight face!
While the videos are entertaining, the mission behind them is deeply meaningful. Each participating school is raising funds to support its own needs. For some, it could be upgrading technology or improving classrooms. For others, it might be purchasing new books, enhancing academic programs, strengthening extracurricular offerings, or making facility improvements.
The overall campaign goal is ambitious: $175,000. But within the Diocese of Allentown community, generosity runs deep. Alumni, parents, parishioners, and friends are invited to support their favorite schools and help them reach – and exceed – their goals.
Each donation counts as one vote, and schools are competing for the highest amount raised and the highest number of votes. No donation is too big or too small. Whether it’s $10, $50, or $500, each contribution helps the schools get closer to the finish line.
