Since January, 2023, when the first St. Monica Ministry newsletter was published, the ministry has expanded to include chapters in 40 parishes across the United States. What makes the St. Monica Ministry program exceptional is that
(1) it has the approval of the Most Reverend Alfred A. Schlert, Bishop of the Diocese of Allentown;
(2) it can be adapted to suit the needs of any parish;
(3) it is solidly prayer-based;
(4) it offers around-the-clock guidance (by an actual human);
(5) it provides materials free or at cost, and
(6) it is effective. (Testimonials will be provided upon request).
The St. Monica Ministry Manual for Parishes is a user-friendly resource for anyone who would like to bring the St. Monica Ministry’s practical grassroots program to his or her parish. All that is needed to form a parish-based chapter of the St. Monica Ministry is a willing heart and the approval of the pastor. Materials are provided at no charge, and someone is always “on call” to offer support. A softcover copy of the St. Monica Ministry Manual for Parishes, with a Foreword by Bishop Schlert, may be ordered here.
