Diocese of Allentown Catholic schools in Lehigh and Northampton counties will be closed today and tomorrow out of an abundance of caution while the Diocese monitors the spread of coronavirus.
All Catholic schools in those counties dismissed early Thursday according to their regular early dismissal policies. At this time, the Diocese is hopeful that the schools will reopen on Monday
During the closing, schools will be cleaned and aired out. Because this is an evolving situation, the Diocese will continue to monitor the situation and provide more information as it becomes available.
