Catholic Senior Housing and Health Care Services, Inc. (CSHHCS) is a non-profit, faith-based network providing long and short-term care and living options to older adults. CSHHCS is seeking a full-time Controller at our campus in Bethlehem, PA.
This position is responsible for providing operational and programmatic support to the
organization and works in collaboration with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide a
fiscal strategy for CSHHCS which supports the organization’s strategic plan and vision.
Strong organizational skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or related field required.
- 5+ years relevant work experience with thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, including general ledger and accounts receivable.
- Previous healthcare or not-for-profit experience a plus.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities as cited above.
The ideal candidate for the Controller position will have the ability to prepare timely and comprehensive financial statements and supporting analytical information that meets the needs of the organization and the leadership team while embracing the values and mission of CSHHCS –to provide the highest quality of physical, emotional, social and spiritual care, with dignity and compassion, to meet the needs of the older adults we serve.
