Spiritual Combat: Armed with the Spirit

The 2018 Diocesan Men’s Conference focuses on spiritual warfare.  Presenters will explore how men can grow closer to God in the midst of daily struggle and temptation and the importance of spiritual surrender.   This seventh Men’s Conference includes keynote speakers and opportunities for Adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament, the Sacrament of Reconciliation and a Saturday evening Vigil Mass celebrated by The Most Reverend Alfred A. Schlert, Bishop of Allentown. A separate Spanish track will be offered.

For women interested in starting or enhancing a women's faith sharing group. Representatives from Women of Grace and Walking with Purpose will provide an overview of their programs and tools to help foster a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. A continental breakfast will be provided.

TRUTH: What the Catholic Church Really Teaches - Scripture Alone?

This free series will discuss topics within the Faith that many of our contemporaries disagree with or don't ascribe to. Many of us believe the Church's teachings but don't know how to speak about them with our neighbors, co-workers, and children. This series will change that. TRUTH: What the Catholic Church Really Teaches will prepare every day lay Catholics with the tools of how to discuss the challenging teachings of our great Faith.

ICF 201 - Prayer & Spirituality Online

ICF 201 - Prayer & Spirituality. Deepen your relationship with Christ by learning the fundamentals of a Catholic prayer life and spiritual dispositions.  Participants will examine what it means to pray, why we pray, and how to have a fruitful prayer life.  Practical exercises of traditional Catholic prayers and devotions will be covered so you will learn how to express yourself to God and how to hear his voice in your everyday life. This course will be presented Online by Rev.

ICF 201 - Prayer & Spirituality at Assumption B.V.M., Bethlehem

ICF 106 - The Church. The Church is the place of encounter between God and His people on earth. This course will provide a brief overview of the origins of the Church; Her identity as One, Holy Catholic and Apostolic; and what it means to be "the Body of Christ" on earth. This course will be presented by Cassie Boccardi and is scheduled from 7:00PM-9:00PM, on Thursdays, May 2, 9, 16 & 23, 2019 at St. Francis Center for Renewal, Bethlehem.

Cost: $30.

ICF 106 - The Church Online

ICF 106 - The Church. The Church is the place of encounter between God and His people on earth. ICF 105 - Christian Morality at Assumption B.V.M., Bethlehem

ICF 105 – Christian Morality. Learn not just the what, but the why, of the Church’s moral teachings. Participants will examine virtue, conscience formation and make application to contemporary moral issues in the areas of health care, sexuality and social justice. This course will be presented by TBA and is scheduled from 8:30AM-12:30PM, on Saturdays, March 23 & 30, 2019 at Assumption B.V.M., Bethlehem.
