Men's Conference, Sponsored by Commission for Men

The Allentown Diocese’s Commission for Men invites you to attend their annual conference, “Ask, Knock, Seek” on Nov. 18th, from 8am-4pm at DeSales University. The day-long conference will welcome Matthew Leonard, Peter Herbek, and Father Larry Richards, who will be speaking on the importance of the masculine pursuit of faith in a modern age. 

The day includes continental breakfast, two morning talks, lunch, two afternoon talks, confession, and Mass celebrated by Bishop Schlert.

Homeschool Families Event - Thursday, March 31, 2022


Homeschool Families​ of the Diocese of Allentown are invited to a First Friday gathering on Thursday, March 31 at St. John the Baptist Church, 10th and Mahantongo Sts., Pottsville. An informal social beginning at 6:00pm will be followed by Eucharistic Adoration from 7:00-8:00 with the opportunity for Confessions. Retreat for Catholic Educators

“The Lord is Here.  Stay Awhile.”

The Office of Evangelization and Formation is hosting a series of Catholic Educator Retreats throughout the Year of the Real Presence.  Retreats are open to all Catholic educators, parents, Catechists, Directors of Religious Educators (DRE), Youth Ministers, Catholic teachers teaching in Catholic or Non-Catholic Schools.

This retreat theme is "The Eucharist:  Source of Freedom" with featured speaker Father John Frink.
