Catholic Education - Scholarships

The Eastern Pennsylvania Scholarship Foundation (EPSF) provides financial assistance to families within the Diocese of Allentown to help cover the cost of tuition.

Eligibility

  • Student(s) must be enrolled in a Allentown Diocese Catholic School
  • Household annual income cannot exceed $90,000.  This amount increases by $15,842 for each additional household dependent.   
  • School age students range from Kindergarten to 12th grade.  Pre-Kindergarten students who are three and four years old qualify for the Pre-K Program.

WHO FUNDS THE SCHOLARSHIPS?

Donations are received from local businesses and individuals participating in Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) and the Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit (OSTC) programs. 

Nearly 1,500 scholarships have been awarded to students attending elementary and secondary schools, special learning centers, and pre-kindergarten programs within the Diocese of Allentown during the 2018-2019 school year.

If you own a business or are an accredited investor that pays Pennsylvania state taxes, you can help build a brighter future for deserving students of the Diocese of Allentown by participating in either the EITC or OSTC program.
