August 10, 2007

The Most Reverend Edward P. Cullen, D.D., Bishop of Allentown has appointed James Angeline as Principal of Pius X High School in Roseto. Angeline is a 1964 graduate of Pius X.

He returns to his alma mater after 38 years as a teacher and administrator in Catholic and public schools. He was a teacher at Cathedral High School in Trenton, NJ; a teacher and assistant principal at Notre Dame High School in Bethlehem Township; and a teacher, assistant principal and athletic director at Catasauqua High School.

He was a highly successful high school wrestling coach and is a member of both the Rider University and District XI Wrestling Halls of Fame.

Angeline is a graduate of Rider University where he earned a B.S. in Business Administration and Management. He has a Masters in Education from Lehigh University.

At Pius X, Angeline will join Reverend Patrick H. Lamb, president on the school's leadership team. Father Lamb says Angeline "will make an excellent principal at Pius and I'm thrilled to have him on board."

Angeline succeeds Thomas F. Klepeisz who resigned in July after four years as Pius X principal.
