Four Men To Be Ordained Transitional DeaconsMay 5, 2008 The Most Reverend Edward P. Cullen, D.D., Bishop of Allentown will ordain four men transitional deacons in ceremonies at the Cathedral of Saint Catharine of Siena in Allentown on May 10. Transitional deacons are one step from becoming priests. The men to be ordained are: Allen Hoffa, 24, of Reading; John Krajczar, 25, of Bethlehem; Keith Mathur, 25, of Easton; and Eugene Ritz, 25, of McAdoo. All four men are preparing for the priesthood at St. Charles Seminary in Philadelphia. Hoffa is a 2001 graduate of Central Catholic High School, Reading. He attended Albright College before entering the seminary. He received a Bachelor's degree from St. Charles Seminary in Philadelphia. He is a member of St. Catherine of Siena Parish in Mount Penn. Krajczar is a 2001 graduate of Bethlehem Catholic High School. He received a Bachelor's degree from St. Charles Seminary in Philadelphia. He is a member of SS. Simon and Jude Parish in Bethlehem. Mathur is a 2001 graduate of Notre Dame High School. He received a Bachelor's degree from St. Charles Seminary in Philadelphia. He is a member of St. Bernard Parish in Easton. Ritz is a 2000 graduate of Marian High School. He received a Bachelor's degree from St. Charles Seminary in Philadelphia. He is a member of St. Patrick Parish in McAdoo. Hoffa, Krajczar,
Mathur and Ritz will spend the next year promoting charity, proclaiming
the Gospel and administering the Sacrament of Baptism before being ordained
priests.
