Foster Parents to be Honored at Luncheon

May is National Foster Care Month and as part of the observance Catholic Charities, Diocese of Allentown is holding a Foster Parent Appreciation Luncheon on Saturday, May 5 at 12 Noon at the Outback Steakhouse, 3100 Tilghman Street, Allentown.
Foster parents from all five counties of the Diocese have been invited. A concurrent program for children will be held at another location. Outback Steakhouse is donating all the food and service and will also provide lunch for the children.
Barbara Murphy, Secretary for Catholic Human Services and Executive Director of Catholic Charities, Diocese of Allentown, said, "National Foster Care Month is an opportune time to recognize the many dedicated foster parents who open their homes and hearts to helping children and families in need."

in the last year.
