The Diocesan Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) Track and Field Meet was held May 12 at Notre Dame High School, Easton.

Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Bethlehem placed first at the event with 161.5 points; St. Jane Frances de Chantal, Easton placed second with 121 points; and Notre Dame of Bethlehem placed third with 112.5 points.

“This year a record 18 teams from around the Diocese with more than 400 youth participated,” said Daniel Jones, assistant coordinator/CYO with the Diocesan Office of Youth, Young Adult and Family Ministry.

“Despite the really miserable weather, both rain and cold, our track athletes turned in another great event. Along with all the participants, holding this track event takes commitment from a large group of volunteers,” said Jones.

“I would like to especially thank Dave Hohl from St. Jane’s for his leadership and organization of this event, as well as Notre Dame High School for its generous hospitality,” said Jones.
