About EPSF
The
Eastern Pennsylvania Scholarship Foundation (EPSF), founded
in 2001, provides need-based scholarship assistance to
children attending or wishing to attend the Catholic schools
of the Diocese of Allentown.
The
mission of the Eastern Pennsylvania Scholarship Foundation
is to provide financial assistance to every family within
the Diocese of Allentown who desires a Catholic school
education for their children, but does not have the financial
resources to pay full tuition.
100%
of all donations received are awarded in need-based scholarships
to students attending Catholic elementary, secondary and
pre-schools in the Diocese of Allentown. Families in most
need are served first.
Donations
from businesses participating in Pennsylvania’s Educational
Improvement Tax Credit program are the primary sources
of funding for EPSF scholarships. Learn more about EITC

The
Eastern Pennsylvania Scholarship Foundation accepts private
and Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) donations
from companies participating in Pennsylvania’s EITC
program. The foundation has awarded over $12 million through
more than 15,000 scholarships to students attending the
57 secondary, elementary, special needs schools, and 45
pre-schools in the Diocese of Allentown.
The
foundation encourages personal donations to our scholarship
fund for any
school or combination of schools in our diocese. Whether
it is through a planned giving gift, memorial scholarship
fund or an individual gift, we are happy to work with
you to meet your educational philanthropic goals.
Growth
This
growth in donations has yielded 15,397 need-based scholarships
since the 2001-02 school year as indicated below.
The
Future
Along
with EITC scholarship donations, the Eastern Pennsylvania
Scholarship Foundation also accepts contributions from
individuals who are interested in providing scholarship
assistance for Catholic school students in need. Whether
it is through a memorial scholarship fund for a specific
school, a planned gift for scholarships through Charitable
Gift Annuities or bequests, or a contribution to the foundation’s
scholarship endowment, we are ready to help you contribute
to a bright future for the Catholic school students of
