A Message from Bishop Cullen

In 1961, the Diocese of Allentown was founded to spread the Good News and compassion of Jesus Christ through Berks, Carbon, Lehigh, Northampton and Schuylkill counties. Today, that legacy continues to nurture and transformcountless families in our parish communities and schools.

The Bishop’s Annual Appeal (BAA) continues thatmission by providing opportunities for Education, Social Services, Vocations, Health and Human Services, and Catholic Life and Evangelization. A gift to the BAA ensures that these critical services are available to those who need our help. Once again, I invite our parishioners to unite as “One in the Spirit”…one Diocesan family to support those who need our assistance.

When we speak with God in prayer, we come to understand His will for us. This prayer life is nurtured through the gift of our parish communities and through private devotion. I invite you to pray withme for those who will benefit fromthe success of this Appeal.
