         Counseling and Behavioral Health

Counseling and Behavioral Health helps people to cope more effectively with emotional or relationship difficulties.
Services are provided by professional staff trained in social work, counseling psychology, marriage and family therapy, and psychiatry.

Types of Services provided:
· Individual Counseling
· Couple / Marital Counseling
· Family Counseling
· Psychiatric Evaluation & Outpatient Treatment
· Therapeutic Supervised Visitation
· School Crisis Intervention

Fees and Funding:
· Medical Assistance (Berks, Lehigh, Northampton, Schuylkill counties)
· Medicare Part B
· Sliding Fee Scale

How does it work?
Anyone interested in counseling or behavioral health services will be offered an intake appointment. An intake counselor will explain the nature of counseling, confidentiality, and fee requirements, and will determine if the Counseling and Behavioral Health Program can meet their needs. As appropriate, consumers may be referred to other service providers.

Who is eligible for this program?
Individuals, families, or a child with parental permission, residing in Berks,
Carbon, Lehigh, Northampton or Schuylkill counties.
