Counseling and Behavioral Health aims to help people solve problems and make improvements in their mental health functioning and in their relationships.
Services are provided by professional staff trained in social work, counseling psychology, marriage and family therapy, and pastoral and community counseling.

Types of Services provided:
· Individual Counseling
· Couple / Marital Counseling
· Family Counseling
· Psychiatric Evaluation
· Parental Coaching and Education
· Therapeutic Supervised Visitation
· Support Groups
· School Crisis Intervention

Fees and Funding:
Sliding scale fees are based on income and family size. Some clients may be reimbursed through private insurance plans or through the state medical assistance program.

How does it work?
Anyone interested in counseling or behavioral health services will be offered an intake appointment. An intake counselor will explain the nature of counseling, confidentiality, and fee requirements, and will determine if the Counseling and Behavioral Health Program can meet their needs. As appropriate, consumers may be referred to other service providers.

Who is eligible for this program?
Individuals, families and any adult, or child with parental permission, residing in Berks, Carbon, Lehigh, Northampton or Schuylkill counties.
