Activity Assistant - Activity Aide, Holy Family Manor

Holy Family Manor has immediate (2) full-time and (2) part-time openings for energetic and enthusiastic people to join our Activities Department!  As part of our Activity Team, your role is to help build and assess our resident activity schedule through fun, healthy and safe programming and events. If you have an appreciation for helping others, then we have an opportunity for you!

Activity Assistant - Work schedules are 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. OR 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for a total of 80 hours every two-week pay period. Every other weekend and every other holiday is required.

Activity Aide - Work schedules are 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for a total of 56 hours every two-week pay period. Every other weekend and every other holiday is required.

Experience with program planning and conducting activities with geriatric and dementia population if preferred Other relevant experience in a group/activity setting (hospitals, prison, school, hospice, day care, group home, residential care or psychiatric setting) is a plus
 
Activity team members assist the Activity Director carry out the Residents’ Activity Programs. You'll be an advocate for engaging residents with healthy, entertaining events.  Responsibilities include assistance with planning, leading and assessing programming; assistance in escorting residents and helping with dining experiences. You'll follow and document all necessary federal, state and facility guidelines regarding residents at our facility and on outings while maintaining a safe physical environment.

Holy Family Manor provides Sub-Acute Care & Short Term Rehabilitation and long term skilled nursing care by an interdisciplinary team of professionals. The role of the traditional "nursing home" has changed over the years. Today's "nursing center" has developed into a multi-faceted care facility, offering a wide range of healthcare services.
