Multi-Cultural Affairs
In response to the U.S. Catholic Bishops' document, Welcoming the Stranger Among Us: Unity in Diversity, the ministry of Multi-Cultural Affairs was established in the Diocese of Allentown.
Mission
Multi-Cultural Affairs functions as an entity of the Office for Social Action. Its mission is to create awareness to the rich ethnic diversity of the Diocese of Allentown, and to develop outreach programs and resource materials, which will challenge parishes and individuals to genuinely strive for unity in diversity. The call for Communion, Solidarity, and Conversion of our church towards the 'stranger in our midst' is the essence of this U.S. Bishops' statement and the prayerful core of this office.Brochure (CLICK HERE)
